Acie earned a B.A. in Business Management & Accounting from Sam Houston State University in 1966. He followed a successful career path in retail and wholesale marketing with Atlantic Richfield and publishing before oil and gas “got in his blood” in the early 1990′s. Acie has two decades of experience in the industry, and can walk-the-walk as well as he talks the talk. He is an avid golfer and hobbyist whose diverse recreational interests include cutting horses, hot air ballooning and gourmet cooking. He and his wife maintain residences in both Dallas and Mabank, Texas.
